Former Ghana FA chairman LepowuraJawula claims that the national team may have made a mistake in appointing Maxwell Konadu as the temporary Ghana national team boss.
After the departure of Avram Grant following a disappointing 2017 Africa Cup of Nations, the national team decided to take its time when it came to appointing his replacement. As a result,Konadu was brought in as a temporary solution for the national team. Since there were no matches for Ghana until June, it left the national team with enough opportunities to find a replacement.
