Yet,Akonnor is being tasked with the difficult objective of being able to win the Africa Cup of Nations and end the trophy drought for Ghana. The tournament was initially expected to take place at the start of 2021, but it has been pushed to 2022.Annan has declared his availability to the national team but he says that doubters should not ask questions aboutAkonnor at this early stage.
