Avram Grant is the head coach of the Ghana national football team and he has his work cut out for him as there are a number of important games that are lying ahead of him and of his team which will be decisive in whether or not the Ghana national side is able to qualify for the 2018 World Cup and for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
The upcoming matches of the Ghana national side include matches against Mozambique, Rwanda and Mauritius, all of these games will be crucial for Avram Grant and his team if they want to make it into the next rounds of the Africa Cup of Nations and have a realistic chance of lifting the African piece of silverware which they haven’t won since 1982.
Stephen Adams wants to help out the Ghanaian national team in their upcoming matches. Adams is a 31 year old shot-stopper who hasn’t played for his national team since 2014 but he wants to get back into the team which is currently being guided by Avram Grant.
“With my injury worries over and currently in fine form, I hope to use this football season to bounce back into the senior national team," Adams said.
In order for Adams to get a call-up to perform for the Ghanaian squad, he will first have to catch the attention of the head coach Avram Grant and right now Grant has set his sights on another player, Thomas Partley.
Thomas Partley is a 22 year old Ghanaian defensive midfielder who is performing for Athletic Madrid as a substitute player where he gets limited playing time in certain matches but even with his restricted time on the actual pitch, it seems like he has impressed Avram Grant enough to get a call up as the veteran coach wants to test new things and bringing Thomas Partley to the Ghanaian national side is one of the things that he is planning to do.
