Unity oil Company Limited is set to become the new sponsors of the Ghanae Premier League following the withdrawal of First Capital plus Bank from the deal they had with the Ghana Football Association.

The corporate affairs Manager of the company, Alfred Frimpong made the revelation to the public.

Avram Grant says he should get most Credit for Rebuilding Team

Ghana manager Avram Grant says that he should receive a lot of credit for rebuilding the national team in a short span of time.

The former Chelsea manager took over as the national team boss of the African nation after the World Cup 2014, which had just ended as a major disaster. Grant has done reasonably well at his previous clubs like Chelsea, Portsmouth, and West Ham. However, the 61-year-old feels that he has never received proper credit for the work.

Ghana in fine Form after Avram Grant

Ghana have been in fine form since Avram Grant became the manager in 2014.

However, the national team has been involved in a number of draws over the last few games and this has not been good enough for the temperament of Grant. The former Chelsea boss claimed that his team were looking for a win but were disappointed to get only a 0-0 draw against Mozambique in the Africa cup of nations qualifiers. Even though Ghana remain in a strong position for qualification, a victory would have put them beyond the reach of teams like Mauritius and Rwanda.

GHANA UNSURE ON GRANT

The Ghana association is not too amused by the fact that the head coach of the senior team, Avram Grant, is not monitoring the games of country’s top flight domestic competition and is instead focussing on his media assignments in England.
