Nigeria are set to take revenge over Ghana in the upcoming friendly. Nigeria led by coach Samson Siasia got its pound of flesh soon after when it sent packing the Black Meteors from the 2008 Bejing Olympics.

Ghana was bundled out of next year’s Olympics, by unfancied Sudan meaning the face saver for the U23s is a place at the All-Africa Games in Mozambique.

Ghana has already sent out its highly-rated Nigerian counterpart from the women’s football event of the All-Africa Games.

“We are looking forward to this match going by the rivalry between the two countries. They will offer stiff opposition but we will win,” predicted Nigeria assistant coach, Stanley Eguma.
