DESAILY PULLS OUT OF THE RACE

Former France captain Marcel Desailly has ruled himself out of the race for the coaching job of Ghana. Desailly, who has Ghanaian parents, told a press conference in Accra that he has 'run out of patience' at the slow pace at which the GFA is handling the issue.

The 1998 French World Cup winner was one of five coaches originally short-listed for the job and was considered the front-runner. He is also considering the Portugal job.

Desailly denied that he was demanding a huge signing-on fee if hired as coach of the Black Stars.
